In April 1945, with the War virtually over, P-51 Mustangs of the 357th Fighter Group sweep unopposed at low level through the beautiful Rhine valley. This was the first in a pair of prints released in 2005 to commemorate the end of the war in Europe and paying tribute the USAAF - the second release in the pair was American Eagles which is also in my store. THE SIGNATURES - THE VICTORY IN EUROPE EDITION This copy is signed by the artist Robert Taylor along with Twelve famous Pilots who flew in combat with the 357th Fighter Group in Europe during WWII. 28 combat missions including a massive escort raid to Berlin.

Flew 71 missions, including D-Day and Market Garden. Took part in all of the Group's major escort missions. 7 ½ victories (the third youngest American Ace of WWII).

This stunning print was released in 2005 to commemorate the end of the war in Europe and is a great piece for WWII history enthusiasts and autograph collectors.
