The print is signed by Robert Taylor and 4 distinguished Luftwaffe fighter pilots who flew and fought with JG-27 in the Western African Desert. The print depicts fighters of JG-27 in North Africa led by Eduard Neumann.

JG-27 had already fought in the Battle of France and the Battle of Britain and arrived in the Western Desert to engage in fierce combat with the ARF.
