Very nice rendering of this pivotal battle in the Pacific Theater during WWII. The piece is entitled, "Midway Strike Against the Akagi".

The print was done by Robert Taylor, a well known war and nautical artist. This is a limited edition print, #460 of 1,250. The print is signed by the artist and then 5 of the parties that participated in the moment captured. There are also two colored remarques below the image of a PBY Catalina and a Dauntless bomber.

This is a limited edition. Signed by Robert Taylor, Lieutenant Commander Dick Best, Major General Marion Carl, Captain Robert Elder, Commander Bill Esders, Captain Scott Mccuskey, and Captain Jack Reid. The certificate of authenticity is with the piece. We do not see any foxing or brown spotting going on with this piece. The print is framed and matted.

Beautiful gold colored wood frame and then a light blue matting around the print. The WWII limited edition print in frame is 41.25" across by 33.75" tall.
