Robert Taylor's timeless lithograph of the mighty Avro Lancaster R5868, call sign S for Sugar, returning with fellow squadron mates of 467 Squadron on April 27th, 1944 from her 95th sortie- a raid on the ball-bearing factory at Schweinfurt. By war's end the famous bomber, S for Sugar completed 137 missions over enemy territory. She has been magnificently restored and now resides in the RAF Museum at Hendon. The lithograph is signed by Robert Taylor and 4 pilots that flew Lancasters with the RAF during WWII.
