Robert Taylor JG-26 AT AUDEMBERT Adolf Galland MINT Aviation Art Pencil Print. SIZE: 17 by 21 inches. SIGNATURES: Hand-signed and numbered in pencil by the artist Robert Taylor and the Me-109 pilot. Hugo Dahmer - Knight's Cross - approximately 50 Aerial Victories.

Comes with the Certificate of Authenticity. Personally, this is my favorite Robert Taylor pencil image, as I think this print features the very best figure work he has ever done. Natural poses and lots of detail in the pilots and the aircraft behind them. This is a very rare print from the "Aces Edition" grouping.

Adolf Galland with some of his plots of JG 26, Audembert, France, Nov 1941. Hugo Dahmer (7 May 1918 - 1 August 2006) was a German Luftwaffe ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hugo Dahmer was credited with anywhere between 45 - 57 victories.

In 1956 he joined the Bundeswehr and retired in 1974 as an Oberstleutnant. Never framed, stored flat in a non-smoking, climate-controlled environment. Check my feedback - it's excellent. I ask for the same consideration from you. I will pack your print very carefully so it arrives undamaged.
